Target Audience: This is an in-person, interactive training for supervisors and managers new to ADR (those who have never attended one of our trainings). Attendance is limited. There is no cost to attend. For more information, please email us at ADR.Bureau@gsd.nm.gov
Join us for a two-hour, interactive training about such topics as empathy and exploring different points of view. We will discover ways to de-escalate tension, including examining communications styles. Small group work, brainstorming, and role plays will make our learning experiential.
Facilitator: Margy Willen
For 17 years, Margy Willen has presented 2-day, experiential workshops on living without violence to men and women incarcerated in three NM prisons. The workshops are designed by a national and international organization called Alternatives to Violence Project.
