Welcome to the Aviation Services Bureau

Our goal is to ensure maximum safety with well‐trained pilots and careful maintenance practices.

The Aviation Services Bureau provides airplane transportation for state agencies, including the Health Department’s Children’s Medical Services. CMS serves children and adults under 21 with moderate to severe special health care needs.
The bureau’s aircraft is a 2006 King Air C90 (Beechcraft), a turbo-prop that accommodates six passengers, along with its two pilots. The cruising speed is about 230 knots, or about 265 miles per hour.
The Aviation Services Bureau charges only fuel costs for use of the plane. Fuel costs generally range from about $460 to $506 per hour of use of the aircraft.
