Building Services Division of the General Services Department is responsible for the administration and daily operations of all Santa Fe executive state managed and operated buildings. It is our goal to provide a safe, comfortable, and functional working environment for the employees of our tenant agencies and visitors to our facilities. Maintenance Services
Our Maintenance Services Team is equipped to perform many light maintenance requirements efficiently in a neat and orderly manner. Our technicians are trained and skilled in most all aspects of facility maintenance and repair. Our building engineers provide technical assistance in maintaining critical building infrastructure systems & components.
Custodial Services
Building Services Division Custodial Services provides quality cleaning services using environmentally sustainable high performance products and processes to support customer satisfaction.
Administrative Support Services
The Business Office provides administrative, financial, information technology and warehouse support services to all units within the Building Services Division and our customers.
Landscape Care Services
The Landscape Care Services Team provides high-quality landscape which complements and enhances the architecture of our buildings, creating a welcoming atmosphere that is pleasing to our customers, employees, tenants, and visitors.
Utility Management
Building Services Division is committed to the objective of employing the best available conservation practices to curtail the excessive consumption of resources in supplying utility services to its facilities.
The Safety and Security Unit
The Safety and Security Unit provides all campuses with professional safety and security services that include incident response, investigation, and follow up of all security related matters that come to our attention. We strive to engage our customers via education, information sharing and training programs. Our strongest ally is deterrence and prevention.
Division Committees:
- Safety Committee - The purpose of the safety committee is to bring employees and managers together to achieve and maintain a safe and healthy workplace. To assist in monitoring, improving, and maintaining job safety and occupational health as mandated by OSHA regulations.
- Employee Action Committee – Building Services Division is committed to the on-going recognition of the achievements and contributions of our employees and Supervisors. This program provides an avenue whereby employees’ and supervisors’ outstanding achievements and contributions will be recognized. This effort will support the mission, motto, core values and principals established by the Division.
